Not the Iro Maru as there was no ship named Iro Maru. This ship was named IRO when she was built.

Palau Shipwreck

470 Foot length, 58 foot beam Shiretoko Class Combined Fleet Oilier

 She lays in 125 feet of water with her starboard anchor straight down, in Western Lagoon and is located at N7 17.648 E134 25.229.

Giant Clams, good visibility and easy penetration. I penetrated the forward Cargo hold to the floor at 102 feet 31 Meters on November 8, 2006. Sister ship to the Sata

She was attacked by aircraft from the Carrier Bunker Hill as part of Task Force 58, Operation Desecrate One, on March 30 and finished off the following day by aircraft from the Carrier Yorktown. She had been previously hit by a torpedo from the US Submarine Tunny on March 22, 1944 West of Palau.
